GUAC IT TO ME

GUAC IT TO ME

If I'm ever stranded on a desert island, I hope it's one with avocado trees because I believe life simply cannot exist without guacamole. (Well, that among other things including red wine, Cowgirl Creamery cheese and Cane Rosso pizza.)

But back to the guacamole,  I was pleasantly surprised to see it on the menu of Chino Chinatown, located in the new Trinity Groves neighborhood in Dallas.

The restaurant blends Chinese with Latin-influenced cuisine to deliver exciting and unexpected dishes. Not to mention inventive cocktails like The Good, The Bad, the Weird, the mixologist's take on the margarita. Everything I tasted off the shared plates menu, including the Duck Fat Fried Rice and the Asian Chicken Salad, tasted fabulous. (SideDish Truth: Pass the salt, please. )
